Membership

ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP FEES

From November 2015 an annual membership fee of £10 will be required which will be used to cover costs incurred in the running of the group such as stationary, website charges etc. All the details of which will be determined and voted on by the membership at a one of our General meetings and communicated accordingly.

BMF

A small portion of the membership fee pays for our Affiliation to the BMF who in turn provides us with a wealth of information as well as our Public Liability Insurance enabling us to put on all the events we organise. As well as these benefits affiliation qualifies us for various discounts on many things like Insurance and Breakdown Recovery as well as other non-bike related things, very worthwhile.

BIKERS PARADISE

As a member of Coventry Riders Action Group you are able to claim a 10% discount on items bought from Bikers Paradise upon presentation of your membership card.

MEMBERS

Membership of the Group is open to anyone over the age of sixteen without regards to, disability, political or religious affiliation, race, sex or sexual orientation. You don’t even need to ride to be a member, you may be a pillion rider or just someone who supports what we’re doing, maybe a partner or relative.. it really doesn’t matter. If you care about our rights and wish to be involved please join us.

Group Structure

The Group consists of a Management Committee and Officials who perform various tasks and Ordinary members. The Management Committee will normally be made up from Officials within the group, some of whom may have more than one role although any Ordinary member is eligible to take on any role within the group and all are encouraged to get involved.

All members are volunteers who give up their time and skills free of charge to further our cause.

This is an open group to communicate the issues that affect riders of all machines, bring like minded riders together to oppose and challenge decisions made by our Government and the EU. As well as campaigning for Riders Rights, we also raise funds for local charities and have a great time doing it.

Membership forms are available at our bi-monthly meetings held at The Old Dyers Arms PH or alternatively you can request one via our Contact Us page.
