Charities

This page is dedicated to all the Charities that we support.

Every year our membership choose one Charity as our main focus but we also support others on a smaller scale. We raise money through various means (all legal). We participate in Toy runs, Easter Egg runs, Breakfast runs, host parties and hold a full weekend party – Sent2Coventry. We charge for entry to our parties and ask for one off donations to participate in the runs. We also hold raffles with a cash prize at our parties.
All profits are donated to our main charities but you will also find us supporting other Charitable events hosted by other Groups and Clubs.

Below are some of the Charities we support…

Our main Charity this year is Warwickshire & Solihull Blood Bikers –”A group of volunteers w10599474_809290705769802_4814576267753983666_nho ride motorcycles to collect and deliver urgently needed whole blood, platelets, samples for analysis, medication, patient notes, small medical instruments, donor breast milk, etc, between NHS hospitals without charging the hospitals.”
In 2014 we managed to raise £600 for the Blood Bikers at our weekend party Sent2Coventry. See more here…

“Zoё’s Place Trust is a registered Charity providing palliative, respite and end of life care to babies and infants aged from birth to five years suffering from life-limiting or life-threatening conditions.”
During 2013 we were able to give £1000 to Zoe’s place thanks to various events with our friends in the All or Nothing Scooter Club AONSC including raffles, an Easter Egg run, a Parachute jump and of course, our weekender – Sent2Coventry. See more here…

Sent From Coventry…

10639391_692364517523898_8821186674689383817_nIn 2013 we teamed up with Phil Baylis and his son Philip who formed Sent From Coventry. They planned to visit every European City twinned with Coventry in an effort to raise funds for the Myton Hospice. We raised £800 for the cause during our Sent2Coventry party and other events during the year. This helped the lads towards their target of £10,000, in the end they handed over a cheque for £17,500. Their story continues. See more here…

Ride to the Wall…

RTTW_small_round_patch_v5_reasonably_small - Copy“RTTW is a unique motorcycling event which gives motorcyclists an opportunity to gather together at a place of remembrance, to pay their respects to our serving and fallen service men and women and in doing so, raise funds solely for the purpose of perpetuating their memory and recognising the sacrifice made.”
We have made this an annual event usually ending with a party at the Ball in Hand Rally with our friends Rugby Riders Action Group.
